With the theme “Son La Arabica - flavor of the northwestern mountains”, the Festival featured an exhibition called “Son La coffee - Integration and Development” and 100 booths where 39 businesses introduced their coffee products and other agricultural specialties of different provinces in northern and Central Highlands provinces.

Vi Thi Tam, Deputy Director of the Son La Coffee Company, said: "Our brewed coffee, roasted beans, and tea made from coffee pulp are 100% from Son La’s Arabica coffee beans. At this event, we wanted to introduce the Son La coffee brand to a wider number of domestic and foreign customers."

Nguyen Quoc Te, the company’s Director, said: "At this festival, we showcased a wide range of products, including Arabica coffee products of the H’mong people in Tuan Giao district. The climate and soil of the district, which is at an altitude of 1,600 meters, is favorable for growing Arabica coffee."

Nguyen Van Thuy, a visitor from Moc Chau district in Son La province, said he loves drinking coffee and listening to stories about coffee farming in the northwestern region.

"I used to drink Dak Lak coffee. Now, I find that Son La coffee is also delicious and strong-tasting. Son La coffee is really great," said Thuy.

This year’s Festival marked 80 years of coffee farming in Son La province, which has improved the local economy. Son La coffee is now sold in many countries around the world.
