Trade representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan Nguyen Trung Dung said about 15 tons of bananas exported by Huy Long An company are being sold in more than 10 Don Kihote stores in Tokyo and adjacent areas. Japan is expected to double its imports of bananas from Vietnam and expand the distribution networks. The Japanese market consumes approximately 1 million tons of bananas per year.
