PM Chinh addressed a high-level economic seminar held in Hanoi on Tuesday to mark the 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relationship. The event was held by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, and the Japan Business Federation.
He urged the ministries, sectors, experts, organizations and businesses of Japan and Vietnam to discuss and share experiences to advise and help the Government with practical solutions to sustainable development and prosperity.
PM Chinh called on FDI businesses, including Japanese ones, to increase training high-quality human resources, apply advanced management science, and step up research, development, and innovation, thereby turning Vietnam into a center in regional and global value chains.
In the spirit of "harmonious benefits, shared risks", the Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will stand side by side and create all favorable conditions for Japanese investors to make successful, sustainable, and long term investments in Vietnam.
