Vietnamese, Ukrainian Foreign Ministers hold talks

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin discussed measures to boost cooperation between the two countries during talks in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Both sides agreed to hold the 14th session of the intergovernmental committee on economic, trade, scientific, and technological cooperation in Kiev next month. They also agreed to promote the tradition of effective cooperation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs on the basis of the signed agreements, and coordinate with other sectors and localities to further bilateral ties.

After the talks, the two leaders signed a plan on consultation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs and witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries’ diplomatic academies.
