RMIT students win at 2012 KPMG International Case Competition |
Students from RMIT University Vietnam finished 4th against teams from around the world at this year’s KPMG International Case Competition (KICC). This is the first time Vietnam has participated in the prestigious global competition which was held recently in Hong Kong. The global student recruitment initiative now in its ninth year, drew some 6,000 students from more than 300 universities in 24 countries to compete against each other in developing solutions to realistic business scenarios. KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Advisory and Tax services. In the final round, the Vietnamese team was asked to tackle a situation relating to an airliner and their solution was strongly praised by the judges for its innovative approach, insight into the subject matter, and the passion exhibited in the team’s presentations.
