(VNA) – The 15^th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Economic, Commercial, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation came to an end in Moscow on Friday.

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister, and Committee Co-Chairman Hoang Trung Hai and his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanovic Shuvalov signed the minutes and agreed to hold the next session in Hanoi later next year. Both Deputy Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of plans to implement a joint action plan on economic, trade, and investment cooperation until 2015. They also agreed to establish a senior joint working group to speed up already existing projects. Both countries agreed to step up cooperation in the energy, industry, and science and technology sectors. Agreement was reached on the need for additional collaboration in agriculture, finance and banking, information and communications, and healthcare.
