Vietnamese President arrives in Budapest for Hungary visit

(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang and his wife on late Sunday arrived in Budapest, beginning an official three-day visit to Hungary to strengthen traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with this European nation.

(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang and his wife on late Sunday arrived in Budapest, beginning an official three-day visit to Hungary to strengthen traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with this European nation. Sang and his wife met with the Vietnamese Embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Hungary. Ambassador Ngo Duy Ngo reported on recent embassy activities. Ngo said the embassy staff and more than 4,000 overseas Vietnamese in Hungary have upheld their role as a bridge in bilateral diplomatic ties, implementing the diplomatic policies and guidelines of the Party and State to promote cooperation between the two countries. President Sang praised efforts by the embassy staff and the solidarity of the Vietnamese community in Hungary. He urged them to further develop the traditional friendship between the two countries and to explore any Hungarian potential that could speed up cooperation for mutual benefit.
