President To Lam expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Han Deok-Su and the high-ranking South Korean delegation, saying their visit shows the South Korean government's respect for the Vietnam-South Korea comprehensive strategic partnership. President To Lam expressed his hope for stronger bilateral ties across all fields.

At a meeting with South Korean Prime Minister Han Deok-Su the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong greatly valued and contributed  to bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea. Prime Minister Chinh urged the two countries to strengthen political trust, enhance delegation exchanges at all levels, and promote economic, trade, investment, and development cooperation to increase bilateral trade to 150 billion USD by 2030.

At the meetings, Prime Minister Han Deok-Su praised Vietnam as a potential investment destination and acknowledged Vietnam's important regional and global role. He expressed a desire to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, making it more substantive and effective.

Also on Thursday, President To Lam received Algerian Minister of Mujahideen (War Veterans) and Right Holders Laid Rebigua, who attended the funeral for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Hanoi.

President To Lam emphasized Vietnam's respect and gratitude for the Government and people of Algeria, noting that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had left a legacy of valuing friendly and cooperative relations with traditional friends in Africa, particularly Algeria.

At a meeting with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, President Lam thanked the Indian government and people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the National Security Advisor for their special affection towards General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. He appreciated India's solidarity with Vietnam during this difficult time, which demonstrated the deep bond between the two countries and their peoples.
