This is the first time the event is being held simultaneously in four Asian countries. It is held in collaboration with the Hanoi People’s Committee and retail giant AEON Group.
The event is taking places across 360 AEON shopping malls and stores in Japan with the theme “themed “Experience Vietnam’s Beauty with all five senses – Cuisine, Culture, and Tourism,” where hundreds of product lines spanning processed foods, seafood, textiles, household goods, and healthcare are being showcased. Vietnamese pho, bun (vermicelli), banh mi, and street foods are also being served fresh at AEON supermarkets’ in-store kitchens.

According to Chairman and CEO of AEON Retail Furusawa Yasuyuki, the Vietnamese Goods Week at AEON will introduce high-quality Vietnamese products to Asian consumers and allow them to gain a deeper appreciation of Vietnam’s culture and rich culinary traditions.
