(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan held a meeting attended by Japan’s government and local leaders, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and Vietnamese expats to celebrate Vietnam’s 71^st National Day (September 2).

Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong highlighted Japan’s contributions to Vietnam’s renewal process. He said Vietnam and Japan have tightened their partnership in politics, diplomacy, economics, security, national defense, and human resources development. 50,000 Vietnamese people are studying in Japan, which is also providing vocational training for 70,000 workers from Vietnam.
