(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada To Anh Dung on Thursday received a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh painted by Canadian painter Jean-Mauriece Gelinas to commemorate Vietnam’s 69th National Day. Ambassador Dung expressed his appreciation and respect for the artwork signifying the artist’s love for Uncle Ho as well as for the Vietnamese land and people. Dung called the painting a symbol of friendship between the two nations and invited painter to visit Vietnam.
