(VOVworld) – Around 800 Vietnamese people in Niedersachsen, Northwest of Germany and neighboring areas marched on Saturday to protest China’s illegal deployment of oil rig Haiyang 981 in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone.

The demonstrators rushed to the city center to protest China’s violations of international law. Nguyen Quang Huong, a member of the Vietnamese Association in Germany called on the Vietnamese community to unite to object China’s illegal acts and show their responsibilities to the homeland.
