(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Buddhist Association in Japan made its debut in Tokyo on Sunday, marking a milestone in the development of the Vietnamese Buddhist community in Japan.

(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Buddhist Association in Japan made its debut in Tokyo on Sunday, marking a milestone in the development of the Vietnamese Buddhist community in Japan. Venerable Thich Thien Nhon, Acting President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council, expressed his hope that the association will act as a bridge linking Vietnam and Japan and contribute to Vietnam’s Buddhism development. The event was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, the head of Japan’s Nisshinkutsu pagoda, Most Venerable Yoshimizy Daichi, and 500 overseas Vietnamese living in Japan.
