This was an opportunity for artists to pay tribute to ancestors of Vietnam’s traditional stage.
An art performance took place at Saint Tan An Communal House in Can Tho city to celebrate the occasion. Artists burned incense to commemorate the ancestors of Vietnam’s traditional stage.
Playwright Nham Hung, former Deputy Director of Tay Do theater, said this was the second year Can Tho has commemorated Vietnam’s traditional stage.
“On this day we burn incense to pay tribute to ancestors of Vietnam’s traditional stage and encourage each other to promote the traditional art,” Hung said.
