The Singaporean Embassy in Vietnam announced that beginning at midnight on Monday, all travelers entering Singapore with recent travel history to Japan, Switzerland, the UK, or any ASEAN country in the previous 14 days will receive a 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN).
In addition, they will have to provide proof of the place where they will serve the 14-day SHN, for example a hotel booking covering the entire period, or a place of residence they or a family member owns.
In addition, all short-term visitors who are nationals of any ASEAN country must submit required health information to the Singapore Overseas Mission in their country of residence prior to their intended date of travel.
The Foreign Ministry advises Vietnamese citizens who plan to go to Singapore or any other country to keep up-to-date on regulations of destination countries and airlines, prepare all required documents, and strictly follow the COVID-19 prevention and control regulations and recommendations of the host countries’ authorized offices.
