Kim B, born in 1989, in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, is a makeup artist cum amateur actress. She has participated in the makeup team for famous films, including "Kong: Skull Island" by director Jordan Roberts which was screened in Vietnam.

The Brilliant Darkness deals with domestic violence in Vietnam. The film is directed by American director Aaron Toronto and his wife, actress Nha Uyen, who is also the screenwriter and lead actress.

Director Aaron Toronto has lived in Vietnam for 16 years and studied funeral customs for the southern region.
