(VOVworld)-Vietnamese and Chinese localities will open border trade and tourism fair from December 22 to 26, according to a conference in Quang Ninh province on Monday. The 5-day fair will be co-organized by Vietnam’s Mong Cai city in Quang Ninh province and China’s Dongxing city in Guangxi's.

The fair will include trade and investment promotion activities, a wood furniture festival, a festival on the river for the two countries' youths, and a food culture exhibition. At the conference, Secretary of the Mong Cai Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Ky said: “The border trade and tourism fair will be a great opportunity for authorities of Quang Ninh and Guangxi province to exchange point of views on major development orientation, issues with great potential in fields of cooperation including trade, tourism, finance, investment in the Mong Cai border-gate economic zone, and Dongxing piloting economic zone.”
The fair will promote friendship between Vietnamese and Chinese border localities and create a long-lasting and stable business environment for border areas.
