(VOVworld) – All four Vietnamese students, who won medals at the 25th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) in Indonesia, were welcomed and honored upon their arrival at Noi Bai International Airport on Sunday.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien praised the 4 Vietnamese students’ achievements: "These achievements are of great significance as we are preparing to host the 27th International Biology Olympiad in 2016. They affirmed Vietnam’s efforts in promoting teaching and studying biology."
The 25th International Biology Olympiad (IBO), was held in Bali, Indonesia, from July 5 to 13, attracting the participation of 200 students from 61 countries and territories. The Vietnamese team won 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at the event.
