In an interview with Reuters, Nguyen Trong Thin, owner of Thin Noodle restaurant in Lo Duc street, Hanoi, said: "It would be my great honor to welcome US President Donald Trump and DPRK Chairman Kim to my restaurant when they meet for the second summit in Hanoi. Being a Vietnamese, I’m very proud because they choose Vietnam as a venue for their meeting.”
In addition to noodle, foreign reporters also introduced a famous drink of Hanoi – egg coffee. Giang Café at 39 Nguyen Huu Huan street and its famous egg coffee have been introduced in CNN and many travel magazines. Nguyen Van Dao, owner of Giang Café, said: “It would be my great honor to serve the US President and the DPRK Chairman this famous egg coffee. Egg coffee is a special drink of Hanoi and is loved by many people around the world.”
Hanoi is famous for diverse, delicious cuisine as well as its safety and friendliness. The DPRK-USA summit takes place on the occasion of 20 years Hanoi received the City for Peace title from the UNESCO. Hanoi is working hard to promote an image of a peace loving city with a thousand years of history.
