In June, the number of international visitors was 1.5 million, 17% more than in the same period in 2024. Foreign visitors to Vietnam in the first half were up 20.7% from the same period last year. China was the top source of foreign tourists to Vietnam, with 2.7 million arrivals, followed by South Korea with 2.2 million.

Over the past six months, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism has enhanced the attractiveness of Vietnamese tourism globally through culture and tourism promotional activities in Europe and Asia and on digital platforms.
