On Saturday, PM Phuc ordered the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt and other relevant agencies to work with the Egyptian side to meet all the needs of Vietnamese victims’ relatives and issue emergency Egypt visas for relatives of the dead and the injured.
The PM said Vietnam is indignant and vehemently condemns the act that killed and injured many innocent Vietnamese. Vietnam demands that Egypt promptly opens a probe into the case and punish appropriately the perpetrators. Vietnam also calls on governments and people of other countries to stay united in the fight against terrorism without mercy to ensure a peaceful life and safe travel for people all over the world. Vietnam highly appreciates the Egyptian government and people’s efforts to cooperate with Vietnam in assisting medical treatment and protection of Vietnamese citizens.

Receiving order from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been active in citizen protection, including visiting the victims, working with the Egyptian agencies, and aking for collaboration in taking care of the victims and their relatives from Vietnam.
