(VOVworld) - Vice Minister of Public Security To Lam has told the visiting Assistant Secretary, Tom Malinowski, that Vietnam-US ties have gradually expanded in various fields.

At Friday’s reception in Hanoi, Lam expressed his hope that both countries will continue to enhance cooperation including the relationship between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and US law enforcement agencies to contribute to ensuring regional and global security.

Malinowski said he hoped the two nations will work more closely with each other to make the bilateral comprehensive partnership more efficient, especially in security, defense, and economics.
