(VOVworld) – A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh is attending the 5^th Vietnam-US defense policy dialogue in the US from September 27 to October 3.

The two sides will discuss ways to enhance military medicine, efforts to deal with aftermath, search and rescue information sharing, humanitarian aid, UN peace-keeping missions, and the search for soldiers missing in action.
The Vietnamese officers are scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials of the US Department of Defence, the US State Department, and the US Congress.
