(VOVworld) – The 3rd conference of the Presidium of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) opened in Hanoi on Thursday to review its performance in 2015 and discuss plans for 2016. Delegates agreed that the Union should expand Vietnam’s network of international friends and partners and strengthen international friendship and solidarity. The Union is required to continue implementing the national program to promote non-government aid during the 2013-2017 period, carry out foreign NGO projects, and expand relations with prestigious foreign NGOs.
