Minister of State Hugo Swire and Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son

(VOVworld) - Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and UK Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Hugo Swire talked on the phone Wednesday about ways to strengthen the two countries’ strategic partnership. They paid particular attention to politics-diplomacy, economics-trade-investment, and education and training but also discussed regional and global issues such as the recent developments in the East Sea. They agreed that the bilateral strategic partnership has developed strongly. The fourth Vietnam – UK strategic dialogue will be held in Hanoi this year.
