The leaders agreed to reinforce cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the ruling Justice and Development Party of Turkey and between the governments and parliaments of the two countries.

They emphasized the importance of observing international law, and ensuring peace, security and development around the world.

President Erdogan said Turkey wants to enhance trade and investment cooperation with Vietnam to achieve a bilateral trade turnover of 5 billion USD in the coming period.

Both said they hope to expand cooperation in tourism, health, and energy.

Mr. Chinh called on Turkey to facilitate access for Vietnamese footwear, farm produce, and aquatic products to supermarket chains in Turkey, and welcomed Turkish groups and enterprises to invest in hydrogen development, infrastructure, logistics, and other areas.

The leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation in the Halal industry, tourism, agriculture, education, training, and people-to-people exchanges.

PM Chinh asked President Erdogan to direct Turkish agencies to create more favorable conditions for Vietnamese living and working in Turkey.

He said that Vietnam will give 500,000 USD in relief aid to Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

PM Chinh also had a meeting on Wednesday with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmus and received the leaders of Hayat Holding and Turkish Airlines.

Meeting with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Turkey, Mr. Chinh asked the embassy to make procedures easier for overseas Vietnamese and quickly establish a Vietnamese Association in Turkey.
