Australia is a reliable partner of Vietnam, General Secretary Lam said and expressed his hope that given the strong political determination of both sides, the bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will flourish in the near future.

The Party leader suggested that the two countries expand cooperation in human resource development, especially high-skilled workers as well as experts and scientists.

General Secretary Lam stressed the need to implement existing cooperation programs in science and technology and expand talent exchanges, creating conditions for young scientists and entrepreneurs of the two countries to work together in pioneering fields.

The Governor-General of Australia said Vietnam is one of Australia's most trusted partners and the two sides will continue to closely coordinate in all areas towards a peaceful, stable and prosperous region.

The two leaders shared the view that climate change is a common challenge for both countries and the world.
