At a meeting with Nepali Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on Wednesday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the Vietnamese leader congratulated Mr. Sharma Oli on his reelection as Prime Minister of Nepal. Both sides agreed to increase high-level exchanges and promptly sign an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. They also consented to facilitate businesses of both countries to explore each other’s market and invest in areas of Nepal’s demands like telecommunications, energy, and infrastructure and of Vietnam’s strength like agricultural products, food, garment and textile, leather footwear, and electronics.
