(VOV) – The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a comprehensive strategy for Vietnam tourism development to 2020 with a vision to 2030.

Under the strategy, by 2020, tourism will have basically become a key economic sector, which is modern and professional with relatively uniform technical infrastructure; tourism products would have high quality, diversity and prestige, and they are imbued with national identities and able to compete with other countries in the region and the world. 7 tourism areas with typical specialties, 46 national tourism areas and 12 other tourism spots will be planned to create momentum for national tourism development.
