The campaign will take place from June 24 to July 1 with support of the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney, and the Australia-Vietnam Business Council.
The campaign aims to support Vietnamese businesses in understanding the market, seeking cooperation opportunities, establishing partnerships, and signing contracts, according to official of the Trade Promotion Agency.
Vietnamese businesses taking part in the trip will be given the chance to connect trade with Australian distributors and importers, market key export products, and boost trade promotions with partners.
Two-way trade between the two countries has grown tremendously over recent years, from 8.3 billion USD in 2020 to 12.4 billion USD in 2021, and 15.7 billion USD in 2022.
For the first time, Australia has become Vietnam’s seventh largest trading partner, while Vietnam has been Australia’s 10th trading partner. Vietnam and Australia are celebrating 50 years of bilateral diplomacy this year.
