Speaking at a meeting with Thai Ambassador Urawadee Sriphiromaya in Hanoi on Friday, where the two sides discussed measures to promote the Vietnam–Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as well as cooperation to ensure energy security for both countries, the PM emphasized that Thailand is Vietnam’s leading trading partner within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Prime Minister Chinh suggested that Thailand consider facilitating stable fuel supplies for civil aviation activities in Vietnam, contributing to socio-economic stability and development, as well as enhanced cooperation in trade and tourism.
Ambassador Urawadee Sriphiromaya expressed strong support for the Prime Minister’s proposals, affirming that the two countries need to support each other as the world faces numerous challenges. She pledged to make every effort to further deepen the Vietnam–Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in a substantive and effective manner.
