(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Thailand signed a judicial cooperation agreement on Thursday.

During talks in Thailand, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong briefed Minister Paiboon Khumchaya on Vietnam’s socio-economic development and legislation in 2015 and plans of the judicial sector in 2016.

He called for increased cooperation between the two countries in legal training through the signing and implementation of a cooperative agreement between Thai legal training centers and the Hanoi University of Law.

Mr. Cuong said Vietnam wants to learn from Thailand’s experience to create its own judicial development strategy.
