Vietnam supports international efforts for peace and justice

(VOVWORLD) -President Luong Cuong will attend the 80th anniversary of the world's victory over fascism and pay a woring visit to China from Tuesday to Thursday at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of China Xi Jinping.

Ahead of the trip, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu talked to the press about the purpose, significance and focus of the President's working trip. The first visit by Luong Cuong as President of Vietnam takes place on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, said Deputy Foreign Minister Vu. 

“The participation of President Luong Cuong at the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism by the world's people in China this time has profound meaning and symbolism, demonstrating the voice, responsibility and support of Vietnam for international efforts for world peace and justice."

"During this working trip, President Luong Cuong will have meetings with key leaders of China. This will be an opportunity to continue to concretize the high-level common perceptions of the leaders of the two countries, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for each country as well as maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world,” the Deputy FM said.
