Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong on the sidelines of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing on Friday. Both sides were pleased with economic and trade cooperation results. Prime Minister Lee applauded Vietnam’s potential, especially the young workforce with high technological capability. Both leaders agreed to boost connectivity in scientific and technological cooperation and e-government. Singapore will encourage its businesses to increase investment in building infrastructure, smart cities, and hi-tech zones, and managing and utilizing seaports in Vietnam.
