(VOVworld) - The Center for Indochina Studies (CIS) was established in Romania recently to bolster relations between Romania and the countries of Indochina, which include Vietnam.

At the center’s inauguration, Vietnamese Ambassador to Romania Tran Thanh Cong said Vietnam will actively contribute to the center’s development.

The ambassador said he hopes the center will be a place where scholars and enterprises can share their experience and ideas for promoting political, economic, investment, and trade exchanges between Romania and Indochina.
