The participants sought ways to increase the GCM’s effectiveness, and discussed the national report Vietnam will present at the International Migration Review Forum scheduled for next May in New York.

Deputy Foreign Minister To Anh Dung said that despite difficulties, ministries, agencies and localities have been working hard.

Mihyung Park, Chief of Mission at IOM Vietnam, praised Vietnam’s contributions to building and ratifying the GCM, as well as its strong commitment to promoting safe and orderly migration.
