Vietnam reports 111 new COVID-19 cases late Wednesday afternoon

(VOVWORLD) -From 12 noon to 6 pm on Wednesday, Vietnam reported 111 new cases of COVID-19. 

They include 2 imported cases who are Vietnamese citizens and were quarantined immediately after their entry in Khanh Hoa and Ha Tinh province.

109 locally-transmitted cases were recorded quarantine areas in Bac Giang (78), Bac Ninh (21), Dien Bien (6), Da Nang (2), Ho Chi Minh City (1), and Tan Trieu Cancer Hospital in Hanoi (1).

As of 6pm on Wednesday, Vietnam had a total of 4,690 cases of COVID-19, of which 2,687 have been cured and 37 died.

The number of new cases in the country from April 27 to now is 1,647.
