Vietnam reports 1 new case of COVID-19 on March 14 evening

(VOVWORLD) - From 6am to 6pm on Sunday, Vietnam recorded 1 more case of COVID-19, patient 2554, according to the Ministry of Health.

The male patient is a 46 year old Japanese expert, who arrived at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh city on a flight from Japan on March 10, and was quarantined immediately after his arrival. 2 days later, he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is now being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital.

As of 6pm on Sunday, Vietnam recorded a total of 2,554 cases of COVID-19, of which 1,594 are domestic infections. 2,086 patients were cured, 35 died.
