At the opening ceremony of the 2025 Global Summit of Women in Berlin, Germany, on Thursday, Ms, Xuan said that between 2022 and 2024, Vietnam climbed 11 spots in the global gender equality rankings, currently placing 72nd out of 146 countries.
She spotlighted Vietnam’s national digital transformation strategy, emphasizing grassroots initiatives like the “Digital Literacy for All” and “AI for All” movements.
Vice President Xuan commended the pioneering role of the Vietnam Women’s Union for bringing these programs to the local level to help build an inclusive digital society.
Vietnam is striving to create a secure, friendly digital space that ensures safe participation by women and children, and some practical actions are already underway, she noted.
