In a reception in Hanoi on Thursday for US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs Bonnie D. Jenkins, Mr. Ngoc hailed the US as one of Vietnam’s top partners and urged the State Department to continue exchanging delegations and cooperating to overcome the aftermath of war, as well as cooperating on regional and global issues.

Under Secretary Jenkins praised Vietnam’s contributions to the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and expressed her wish to reinforce collaboration on health care, aviation security, nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, overcoming the consequences of war, and promoting women’s role in maintaining peace and security.
