(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s Embassy in Chile participated the ASEAN Tourism Information Fair on Wednesday in Santiago city, which attracted hundreds of travel companies.

At a talk show, Vietnamese Ambassador to Chile Ngo Duc Thang introduced Vietnam’s land and people as well as its UNESCO-recognized heritage sites. The embassy also distributed leaflets, books to visitors and screened the video clip “Welcome to Vietnam”.

The fair is part of culture, sports and tourism events organized by the ASEAN Commission in Santiago and embassies of ASEAN countries, beginning from April, to boost the understanding between ASEAN’s member nations and Chile. A photo contest on ASEAN tourism will be organized
