(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Defence Minister Lieutenant-General Nguyen Chi Vinh will arrive in the US on Thursday for a Defence Strategy dialogue and will pay an official visit to Canada.

In the US, the delegation is expected to discuss defence cooperation based on a memorandum of understanding signed in 2011. In Canada, the delegation will focus on ways to boost bilateral cooperation in defence. During the tour until November 3, the delegation will visit the sea defence forces of the US and Canada and the training facilities of the UN peace keeping force in Canada.
