On display at roughly 150 Vietnamese pavilions are a wide array of items including interior wood products, handicrafts, farm produce, processed food, confectionaries, natural rubber, footwear and cosmetics. Processed seafood– one of Vietnam’s premiere export items – is being marketed for the first time at the event. Nguyen Ho Nguyen, Managing Director of Lenger Seafood Vietnam, said: "We hope to find a firm foothold in Kunming and Yunnan which could very well be a springboard for penetrating the marketplaces of neighboring provinces and other nations".

The trade turnover between Vietnam’s localities and Yunnan exceeded 2 billion USD in 2013 and is estimated at more than 700 million USD in the first 5 months of the year.
