The hybrid meeting connected the Government headquarters in Hanoi with 45 provinces and centrally run cities.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh reiterated the goal that the country will have 3,000 km of expressways by 2025 and 5,000 km by 2030. Given the huge workload for this year with only seven months left, the Prime Minister requested a focus on removing difficulties and accomplishing tasks to ensure the projects’ progress, quality, technique, aesthetics, safety, and environmental protection.

He asked provinces and cities to urge contractors to mobilize adequate human and material resources for construction and promptly remove obstacles to fulfill the plans. For projects that are behind schedule, it is necessary to direct contractors to supplement human and material resources to ensure the progress, PM Chinh said.
