(VOVworld) - Vietnam wants to boost cooperation with the Netherlands in agricultural development, said Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission. During a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday with Dutch Agriculture Minister Sharon Dijiksma, Cuong expressed his hope for more policies and incentives from the Dutch government to support cooperation between businesses of the two countries. He noted the Netherlands’ strength as an agricultural country with advances in agricultural science and technology and many businesses experienced in processing agricultural products. He acknowledged Vietnam’s potential for agricultural development with its population of 90 million people, half of them involved in farming, and its diversity of agricultural products.
