The fixture was agreed upon by both the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Jordan Football Association on Monday.
The national team, led by head coach Park Hang-seo, are scheduled to arrive in the UAE on May 27. Upon arrival in the Middle Eastern country, the squad will have four days in which to take part in a brief training camp before playing against Jordan.
At present, the national team are leading Group G with total 11 points, with Malaysia in second place on nine points.
They are followed by Thailand on eight points, the UAE on six points, and Indonesia on zero points.
Currently, Jordan are placed third in Group C after earning 10 points so far. They are behind second-place Kuwait who are also on 10 points but have a higher goal difference compared to Jordan, as well as group leaders Australia on 12 points.
In the most recent match between the two during the round of 16 at the 2019 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese team beat Jordan 4-2 in a penalty shootout to progress to the quarter-finals.
