The delegation recently worked with the Department of Crop Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to examine the longan farming, processing and packaging process in northern Hung Yen and Ben Tre provinces. It is seen as good news for Vietnam’s fruit sector as Australia is a potential fruit import market. The Australian Department will have an assessment report and draft import requirements for the product.
