Two international centers for research in Physics and Mathematics of Vietnam are recognized and sponsored by UNESCO.

The two centers are tasked with participating in international research projects, training and doing research on physics and mathematics, providing consultancy to policy makers and boosting public communication in these fields. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoang Giang said: “Many Vietnamese mathematicians and physicians have participated and been trained in many programs supported by UNESCO. Vietnam’s mathematics and physics have been widely recognized in the world. The opening of these two centers will further contribute to developing science in ASEAN and the world through regional training programs and research exchange programs of UNESCO.”
