Nguy Thi Khanh, Executive Director of the Green Innovation and Development Centre (GreenID), said the design is the result of a GreenID study on development scenarios for electricity sources in Vietnam. The research introduces 5 scenarios to meet Vietnam’s increasing energy demands, said Ms Khanh.

“After the government issued new incentives to promote the deployment of renewable energy and solar energy points, the solar energy market has boomed. This shows that policy adjustments have created a boost for investment in the energy market, especially in the context of rapidly changing technology. Our scenarios introduce solutions to develop renewable energy and promote energy efficiency,” Khanh elaborated.
