At a meeting with Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Mazen Turki El Qadi, who is paying an official visit to Vietnam from February 2–5, the Party leader said Vietnam and Jordan are entering pivotal periods in shaping new development eras and are actively contributing to addressing common global challenges.

Speaker Mazen Turki El Qadi expressed Jordan’s desire to enhance cooperation and exchange experience in areas where Vietnam has strengths, particularly science and technology and emerging high-tech sectors.

Both sides agreed to become each other’s leading trusted partners in their respective regions, while promoting cooperation in defense-security, economy, and other fields.

They also agreed to coordinate closely in contributing effectively to peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and post-conflict reconstruction, including active participation in the Board of Peace aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza, of which both countries are members.
